2019 Tournament Rules Summary

The “Tournament Rules Summary” sheets for 2019 are now available here.

There are a few new tournament-specific rules. These were covered in my post on 2019 Rule Changes, but include:

  • Teams with 11 or fewer players may only use one adult manager and coach. As a result, a player will have to coach one of the bases.
  • A new “tiebreaker” rule has been introduced, which takes effect after one extra inning.

Of course, regular-season rule changes for 2019 apply during tournament play as well.
